Each illustration begins as a hand-drawn sketch, then evolves through digital enhancement using Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, and FashionDraw. This mixed-media approach allows me to blend traditional artistry with modern precision. All showcased looks are my original designs and concepts, reflecting my creative process from initial idea to finished visualization.

This collection tells the story of a woman who chooses herself after realising the love she trusted was never real. Stepping out of illusion and toxic devotion, she finds clarity and freedom. Each look reflects the quiet strength of letting go, and a new understanding of romance - one that is honest, safe, and mutual.

With Victorian inspiration, the collection blends delicate corsetry touches with soft drapery and loose, flowing silhouettes, symbolising the shift from restraint to release. Rich colours and luxurious fabrics express the journey from heartbreak to renewal. This is not only the end of a love story, but the beginning of a new one - where self-love becomes the truest form of romance, and freedom becomes the final statement.

This collection explores the moment you decide to let go of a toxic cycle that no longer serves you. It reflects the difficult but necessary process of release - unlearning patterns, breaking attachments, and choosing healing over familiarity. Each look represents a step in detoxification: heavy, intense, and emotional, yet leading toward renewal.

Beadwork is central to the story, designed to emulate dripping tar as a visual symbol of what is being pulled out and left behind. Dark tones and rich textures capture the weight of the experience, while softer, lighter colours begin to appear toward the end of the collection, marking transformation and hope. This is a journey from darkness to clarity, showing that even the most painful endings can become the start of something lighter, freer, and stronger.
